Building a Farm.Creating Second Chances.

Sunny Day Farm LLC is a startup farm being built from the ground up with a bigger purpose in mind. Our vision is to create a working farm — not by rushing, but by doing things the right way, one phase at a time.
We are building a farm that stands on structure, responsibility, and purpose. A place where high‑quality milk production and strong herd health are matched with second‑chance employment and real mentorship.
We see Sunny Day Farm becoming a long‑term anchor for our community — a place where people rebuild their lives, where families reconnect, and where discipline and opportunity create a new path forward. This farm is being built to last for generations, carrying our family name with pride and giving our children something solid to stand on.
Sunny Day Farm isn’t just a business. It’s a legacy being built from the ground up.
What Cows Do For Us Each Day
Cows give to us every single day, long before the milk ever reaches a bottle. They teach discipline, patience, and responsibility.
They depend on us for care, and in return they provide the milk that feeds families and supports our
community.
Every day, cows
Produce fresh milk that becomes cheese, butter, yogurt, and more
Help support local jobs and the Michigan dairy economy
Teach us consistency through daily routines
Remind us to slow down and appreciate the simple things
Bring purpose to the people who care for them
Help build a legacy that can be passed down to the next generation
At Sunny Day Farm, we honor our cows by giving them clean bedding, fresh feed, proper care, and respect.
Healthy cows produce healthy milk — and that starts with how we treat them every single day.
Sunny Day Farm is built on discipline, routine, and respect for the animals. Every day starts early and ends late, with hands‑on care and a steady rhythm that keeps the cows healthy and the milk clean.
We feed a balanced ration of corn silage, haylage, grain, and minerals — mixed fresh every day. No shortcuts, no cheap fillers. Just honest nutrition that keeps our cows strong and producing high‑quality milk.
We walk the pens daily, checking every cow for health, comfort, and behavior. Clean bedding, fresh water, and a calm environment are non‑negotiable. Healthy cows produce better milk, and that starts with how we treat them.
Our farm runs on structure:
• Daily pen rotations
• Clean, quiet milking routine
• Proper calf care from birth
• Equipment maintained by skilled hands
• Fields managed with purpose and planning
Sunny Day Farm is small today, but built with the discipline and experience of large‑scale dairy operations. We’re growing the right way — steady, honest, and built to last.
At Sunny Day Farm, we believe in real second chances.
I was once an inmate with no direction, but through faith, discipline, and farm work, I rebuilt my life. Purpose isn’t given — you earn it. Our program teaches structure, skills, and responsibility so others can rebuild their lives with dignity, the same way I did.

My life didn’t start in the peace of a farm. I had to walk through storms, through places that tested my faith, my discipline, and my character. I lived years without direction, repeating cycles that kept me stuck and empty. I had to face myself, face my choices, and decide whether I wanted to stay the same man… or fight for something better.
It wasn’t luck that changed me. It wasn’t someone else stepping in. It was faith — the kind that forces you to stand up when everything in you wants to fall. It was discipline — the kind you build day by day, not when life is easy, but when it’s hard. And it was structure — the kind that teaches you to show up, stay steady, and earn your purpose.
Farm work became the place where everything finally aligned. The early mornings, the routine, the responsibility, the animals depending on me — it grounded me. It gave me a reason to rise, a reason to push, a reason to become the man I was meant to be.
Sunny Day Farm was built from that journey. Not from comfort — but from correction. Not from ease — but from endurance. Not from chance — but from a second chance I refused to waste.
Today, I lead this farm with the same mindset that rebuilt my life: faith first, discipline always, and structure that never bends. My mission is simple — build something real, create opportunities for others, and leave a legacy my children can be proud of.
Equipment & Maintenance Manager A master of heavy equipment, engines, and on‑farm repairs. He keeps the machines running, the breakdowns minimal, and the work moving. His skill saves time, money, and downtime — the backbone of a farm that can’t afford to stop.
Fields & Grounds Manager Seven years of land and soil experience. He handles grading, drainage, field prep, and the ground that feeds the herd. His work keeps the fields healthy, the feed program strong, and the land ready for every season.
Together, we operate with discipline, structure, and purpose — building a farm that stands on faith, hard work, and second chances.

I spent years living in silence, fighting battles no one could see. For almost a decade, I lived mostly alone — reflecting, wrestling with my past, and begging God to break the chains I couldn’t break myself. I prayed through nights that felt endless. I carried pain that felt too heavy to speak out loud.
And then one day… everything changed.
After years of darkness, I woke up with something I hadn’t felt in a long time — life, happiness, and a love for God so strong it filled every part of me. It didn’t make sense at first. It felt overwhelming, almost frightening, to feel that much peace after carrying so much pain.
But that’s what God does.
He steps into the places we think are dead.
He breathes life where we only saw loss.
He brings love where we only knew survival.
He breaks chains we thought were permanent.
Today, I live with a heart that’s awake.
A mind that’s clear.
A spirit that’s finally free.
Sunny Day Farm is part of that freedom — a place built on faith, discipline, and the belief that no one is too far gone to rise again. If you’re fighting something heavy, I want you to know this:
You’re not alone
You’re not forgotten
And you’re not beyond hope.
If God can reach a man like me… He can reach anyone.
